Has anyone looked into the weather conditions on the day Daniel and Tony Myers went missing near Gravina Island? I was reading about similar incidents, and it seems like sudden changes in weather can be a huge factor in these types of accidents. Maybe there was an unexpected storm or strong currents in that area? It might explain why nothing's been found despite the extensive searches. Has anyone found info on historical weather data for that day?
Hey everyone, I’ve been following the Daniel and Tony Myers case, and I noticed something odd about the searches conducted after their skiff accident. I'm curious if anyone has more insight into the currents around the east end of Gravina Island. I’ve read that the tides and weather can be unpredictable in that area. Does this affect the search area significantly? Could this have caused their remains to drift farther than anticipated, or even moved them into a different search zone altogether? It would be helpful to know if there’s any precedent for similar incidents where the currents played a significant role. Appreciate any thoughts or info you all might have!
Has anyone else been looking into the weather conditions around Gravina Island on the day Daniel and Tony Myers disappeared? I came across some data suggesting there were sudden gusts in the area that afternoon, which could have easily thrown a small skiff off course. I've seen a few search and rescue reports mention unexpected choppy waters that day, which might explain why no trace of them or the skiff was found despite exhaustive searches. Just a thought – maybe it's worth cross-referencing with similar incidents in that area? It's just so strange that no debris or personal items surfaced, given the efforts made.
