Does anyone else find it strange that no arrests have been made in Jasson Duffy and Hassan Ward's case yet? It's been over four years, and I can't even imagine the pain their families are going through with no closure. I was reading some of the earlier reports, and it seems like they were sitting outside in broad daylight. How does something like that happen without anyone seeing or coming forward with solid info? Newark has a strong community, and I believe there are people out there who know more than they're saying. I get that folks might be scared or worried about retaliation, but keeping silent is only allowing gun violence to continue. Has anyone heard any updates from the Essex County Prosecutor's Office or local activists? Maybe there are efforts or rewards we don't know about that could encourage more people to step forward. Sending strength and love to Jasson and Hassan's loved ones. They deserve answers, and the community deserves safety.

It's chilling to think about the randomness of that woman getting hit by a stray bullet during the shooting that took Jasson Duffy and Hassan Ward's lives. Standing outside on a normal day, and suddenly chaos erupts. I can’t imagine the fear and confusion she must have felt in those moments, not to mention what she and her loved ones are going through now. It's so important for anyone with information to help the investigation. This kind of violence leaves lasting scars on the families and the community. My thoughts go out to all those impacted by this tragic event. Let's hope the Essex County Prosecutor's Office can find some answers soon.
