I can't stop thinking about the bravery Detective Joe Seals showed on that tragic day. Approaching a suspicious van tied to a homicide takes an incredible amount of courage and dedication to protecting the community. It's clear he didn't hesitate to put himself on the line to make Jersey City safer. Detective Seals had an 18-year career focused on removing illegal guns from the streets, and it's heartbreaking to see such a committed and honorable officer taken away in such a violent manner. This senseless act not only robbed his family of a loving husband and father but also the community of a true hero. I hope justice continues to be served for Detective Seals and the innocent victims of this horrific event. My thoughts and prayers are with his family, the victims, and everyone affected by this tragedy.
