It's always devastating when a young life is cut short, and Saddott's story is no exception. Reading about the case, I can't help but think about the ripple effect this tragedy has on everyone who knew him and even those who didn't. One aspect that's been on my mind is the impact on his classmates at Eastside High School. Imagine facing final exams and holiday break with the shock of losing someone who walked the same halls just moments before. It's hard to wrap your head around how his friends and classmates are coping. The school community must be going through an incredibly tough time, and I hope they have the support they need to process this and begin healing. These are the kinds of scars that linger, not just for Saddott's friends and family, but for the whole community. Sending strength to all affected.
