Hey everyone, I’ve been following the case of Louis Perez, and I've been thinking about the bravery of Jose Mercado, the passenger who survived the shooting. It's hard to imagine the trauma he must be going through right now — not just physically with his injuries but emotionally after losing his friend so suddenly in such a violent way. It’s truly remarkable that he survived being shot and was able to provide the authorities with crucial information about what happened that night. His strength and cooperation were likely pivotal in capturing Regan and Coudrey. I hope he's getting all the support he needs right now and that he's surrounded by family and friends who can help him navigate this difficult time. Let’s keep Jose in our thoughts as he recovers not just from his injuries but from the immense loss. I hope justice is served swiftly to bring some sense of closure to him and Louis's family. We all owe a lot to people like him who, despite their own suffering, still find the resolve to help ensure justice. Stay safe, everyone.
