It's absolutely devastating to hear about Robert "Black Rob" Covington's passing. My thoughts are with his family and friends during this incredibly difficult time. I wanted to discuss how this crime underscores the urgent need for better community safety measures in Paterson's 4th Ward. It's troubling that no arrests have been made yet, and this highlights a broader issue: people often don’t feel safe coming forward, which stalls justice for victims like Robert. We have to ask ourselves why that is and what we can do differently to change it. Maybe strengthening community-police relations and ensuring witness protection could be part of the solution. It’s so frustrating and saddening to see yet another life lost in this manner, and I really hope the community and authorities can work together to prevent further tragedies. Has anyone heard of any community initiatives or discussions focused on addressing these challenges in Paterson?
