It's honestly puzzling how Larry Wade was only reported as missing in 2008, even though he disappeared way back in 1994. I get that sometimes family dynamics can complicate things, but a 14-year gap is just so long for someone to be "unofficially" missing. I'm wondering if there's anyone in Guys, Tennessee, who had interactions with him just before he disappeared. Given his scars, it seems like he'd be relatively easy to identify if someone did see him. Why was there such a significant delay in reporting him missing? Makes me think there might be more beneath the surface in this case. Anyone have any insights or thoughts on this?
Has anyone else noticed the odd gap in time between when Larry Wade went missing and when his case was reported? I mean, Larry disappeared in June 1994, but it wasn't until July 2008 that his son filed a missing person report. That's over a 14-year gap! I wonder what took so long — was it because family members thought he just left on his own, or was there a lack of communication within the family? It's mind-boggling that such a significant amount of time passed before the authorities were notified. Does anyone have any theories or insight into why the report took so long to file? I'm curious if this might have impacted the investigation.
