Has anyone else been following the legal twists in the Raijah Scott case? I'm just floored by how defense is trying to challenge the indictments against Lansing and McDaniel. It's so unsettling to think about how the system can bend and twist, especially with the arguments about flawed testimony and withheld evidence. It just seems like the defense is pulling out all the stops, which I guess is their job, but it feels like it could potentially delay justice for Raijah's family and friends. I keep thinking about what a huge loss Raijah's death must be for his community, especially since he worked at places like ROOTS Steakhouse and ShopRite where he would've touched a lot of lives. It’s truly difficult to imagine what people who knew him are going through as they watch this legal drama unfold and wait for some closure. Hoping the proceedings continue smoothly and that the truth prevails in the end. Anyone else have thoughts on the defense’s strategy or insights into how the courts might handle this?
