I've been following Juan Soto's case closely, and one thing that keeps standing out to me is the location where this tragic event took place. My heart goes out to Juan's family and friends, who must pass by this location, possibly in their everyday routines, and be constantly reminded of their loss. Reading about the surveillance footage makes you wish there was more that could've been done to prevent this senseless act. Paterson has unfortunately seen multiple incidents like this, and it's a stark reminder of the violence in the community. I hope the local authorities are able to amplify their efforts to make the streets safer so no other family has to endure a similar tragedy.
