It's been a few months since Gerald’s accident on the Yukon River, and I can't stop thinking about the conditions out there that day. Does anyone know if there were strong currents or maybe sudden weather changes reported around Stevens Village? The river can be unpredictable, and I'm wondering if something unexpected happened that contributed to the boat capsizing. It's always so eerie how nature can just change on you like that in an instant. If anyone has info on typical river conditions in that area or knows local stories about similar incidents, please share. I'm hoping to piece together some understanding of what might have happened out there.
