I've been following the Vernon Bowman case and something that keeps sticking in my mind is the neighborhood's reaction—or rather, the lack of it. It's always bewildered me how little information seemed to come from the people living nearby. I mean, by all accounts, Vernon was well-known and liked. His neighbors would have noticed if something was off, right?
I understand it's a long time ago, but back then, a stranger in the area should've raised some eyebrows. If you're from Mesa or lived there around that time, I'd be interested to hear if there were any rumors or whispers after it happened. Sometimes small details help, and it might offer some comfort or direction for Vernon's loved ones who are still waiting for answers after all these years. It's baffling and frustrating that the family hasn't gotten closure.
