I recently came across some details about the Giuliani case that really struck a chord with me, particularly about how the community rallied around each other after this unimaginable tragedy. The Giulianis were so deeply rooted in Yale, and I can only imagine how much they meant to those who knew them. What's been particularly touching is hearing how the high school, despite being a place associated with the crime due to the suspect's connection, became a gathering point for students and teachers to support one another. The teachers reportedly opened up classrooms after school for students to talk and process what happened. They created a space for healing, which is just so important in times of such grief. Seeing how a community can band together in the face of such tragedy is a testament to the strength and love that Dean and his family inspired in those around them. If anyone has more stories about how the community coped or supported each other, I'd love to hear them. It's so important we remember the kindness and humanity that emerged in response to such a devastating event. Sending all my love to those still affected by this.
