Did anyone else attend the Officer Scott Flahive Memorial Cruise this year? It was such a moving experience being part of something that continues to honor his legacy. I never had the chance to meet Officer Flahive, but hearing the stories from those who worked with him and from his family really painted a picture of what a dedicated officer and kind person he was. The community's involvement in the event was incredible, and it felt like a true celebration of his life and commitment to service. I think it's amazing how the event also supports young people who want to enter law enforcement, as it keeps Scott’s passion and dedication alive. It's such a powerful way to remind us of the risks officers take every day and to make sure they know they're appreciated. It’s been almost 30 years since that tragic night, yet it’s heartwarming to see how strongly the community rallies around Scott’s memory and his family.
