I've been thinking a lot about the impact this tragedy had on the Comerica bank employees who worked with Stanley Pijanowski. Losing a colleague in such a violent and unexpected manner must have been unimaginably traumatic for them. I wonder if the bank provided any counseling or support for those who knew him. The need for workplace safety and mental health support in high-stress jobs should never be overlooked, especially in environments that have experienced robberies or other threats. I hope Pijanowski's legacy inspires more companies to take employee concerns seriously and to act proactively to prevent such tragedies in the future. Sending love and strength to all who were affected by this horrible incident.
