Hi everyone, I've been following the Officer Sheffield case and can't stop thinking about the security measures in place at the McNamara Federal Building on that tragic day. It's clear that things were already tense given the post-9/11 environment, but I wonder if there were any discussions afterward about improving security protocols or mental health screenings for those entering high-risk buildings. I can't imagine the trauma that workers and their children experienced witnessing something so terrifying. If anyone has more insight into how security procedures might have shifted after this incident or any changes implemented to prevent similar tragedies, I'd love to hear your thoughts.
