Reading through all the details of Tony's case, I keep coming back to the thermos bottle that was found with his name on it. It's such a personal item, and I can't stop wondering if there's more to it. Was it actually in the boat with him when he went missing, or could it have been dropped by someone else? Given that the thermos was found alongside a floating gas tank, it might suggest some kind of accident, but I'm also curious if there's a chance of any foul play involved. It's odd that only these two items surfaced. Could it be possible that someone else was out on the water that day? It seems like such a significant clue, yet it hasn't led anywhere. Thoughts?
I was digging around about Tony's case, and something struck me as odd about the gas tank found in Mahtkwingak Slough. Was it confirmed to be empty or full at the time it was discovered? It might sound trivial, but if it was full, that could suggest his boat either capsized or met with an accident shortly after leaving the launch point. On the other hand, an empty tank might hint he traveled quite a distance before something went wrong. Sometimes these little details can offer more insight into what might have happened. Also, has there been any discussion about revisiting the area with modern tech that wasn't available back then? I'm curious to hear thoughts from others who have looked into similar cases.
