I recently came across the tragic case of Jonaries Holden, and it's really made me think about the profound impact of violence on innocent lives. I can't stop thinking about Jonaries’ twin brother. I can’t imagine what he must have gone through, being right there in the car and experiencing such a terrifying event. The loss of Jonaries is unimaginably deep, but it's important to remember that the trauma extends to those who survive, especially siblings who might struggle to understand why such a senseless act had to happen. My heart goes out to the entire Holden family and the other children caught up in this nightmare. It's a heavy reminder of the responsibility we all have to advocate for a safer community. It’s essential to support one another and push for change so no family has to endure this kind of tragedy again.
