Hey everyone, I've been following the discussions about Dericko Damass Carter and wanted to touch on something that hasn't been mentioned much yet—his love for basketball and its impact on his life. It's clear he wasn't just a talented athlete but also someone who found joy and camaraderie on the court. Winning the 2013 MAAA Class A State Championship with his team must have been such a proud moment for him and everyone involved. It’s sad to think that someone with such spirit and potential is no longer with us. My heart goes out to his teammates and coaches who must miss his energy and leadership, just as his family misses him. I hope wherever he is, he's still playing the sport he loved. ??
