I've been thinking a lot about the impact that Anna's passing must have had on her fellow officers and colleagues at the Detroit Police Department. Being part of such a tight-knit team, I can only imagine how deeply they're feeling this loss. It's hard to fathom returning to the job when one of your own, especially someone as respected as Anna, is suddenly gone in such a tragic way. The support system within law enforcement is strong, but this kind of situation must be an incredible challenge for everyone involved. I'm sending thoughts and strength to all her colleagues who are navigating through this difficult time while trying to keep serving and protecting the community.
