Hey everyone, I’ve been following Quevonte Deshawn McClain-Stewart’s case and wanted to share something on my mind. I couldn’t help but think about his family and how they must be coping without answers. It's been years since his tragic death, and still, no arrests? What a heavy burden they must carry, living each day not knowing who took Quevonte away from them. The efforts by the Oakland County Sheriff's Office, while surely well-intentioned, clearly haven't brought the closure his loved ones deserve. The fact that Quevonte was one of 11 homicide victims in Pontiac that year just adds this extra weight. It makes me wonder about the resources available to investigators and if they’re stretched too thin. We've seen the community come together with rallies and calls for peace, but I wonder whether there’s a way for us to do more to support the families and maybe bring more attention to these unsolved cases. My thoughts are with Quevonte’s family and anyone else who has lost someone to violence.
