I've been following the case of Westley Edward Cheeks, and something that really stands out to me is the collaborative effort it took to bring in Dequaries Jackson. It’s impressive to see so many different teams – from local to federal – working together to make an arrest. My heart goes out to Westley’s family; it must be some small comfort knowing there was such a determined effort to find justice for him. It's infuriating to think that a dispute over money, of all things, could lead to such a devastating outcome. This just shows how important it is for communities to rally and support each other, particularly the families left to pick up the pieces. Anyone else think the teamwork here set a good standard for future cases?
