Just wanted to share something that’s been on my mind. The fact that the Sea Wolf was found adrift with the lights and engine still running is so puzzling. It almost feels like something out of a mystery novel. How could a whole vessel end up like that without anyone noticing anything unusual? Seems like there should have been a radio call or something before whatever happened did. Maybe some kind of equipment failure or something else entirely? I hope the investigation gives us more insight. It’s just so unsettling thinking about the whole scene playing out. Thoughts on what could have happened?
Has anyone looked into weather conditions on the day Scott went missing? I've been trying to find more information, but details seem sparse. We know the Sea Wolf was found adrift, which makes me wonder if there was a sudden change in weather that could have caught him by surprise. Was there a storm or high winds reported around Kizhuyak Bay or Anton Larsen Bay that day? If anyone local could weigh in on typical conditions in that area during the time of the incident, it might provide some context. Hoping for more information soon.
