I find it incredibly hard to wrap my head around the tragedy that befell Ashley Rich. While it's some relief that her killer, Ian Jones, was brought to justice, my heart truly goes out to her children and family who have had to navigate life without her. I’m particularly struck by the strength of Ashley’s friends and community during such a painful time. They rallied together, sharing her story and raising awareness about the signs and dangers of domestic violence. It’s a somber reminder for all of us to pay attention to these signs and support those in vulnerable positions, perhaps preventing similar tragedies in the future. Sending all my love to Ashley's family — may they continue to find strength and healing.
