Hey everyone, I’ve been thinking a lot about Alexis D. Allen’s case, especially since it happened in an area like Auburn Gresham, which has unfortunately seen way too many similar tragedies. What strikes me is how these alleys, once just a backdrop to everyday life, have become scenes of such senseless violence. It's chilling to think about how unsafe some places have become. I can't help but wonder if there were any witnesses or if anything has changed in that area since 2009 that might give his family—or even the community—some sense of closure. It’s devastating to see another young life taken like this. Have there been any efforts to memorialize Alexis or others who have suffered similar fates in these communities?
