I can't stop thinking about the White Castle incident, especially how it must have felt for the employees who witnessed it all firsthand. They may not have been physically harmed, but the emotional toll must be unimaginable. It's good to hear that White Castle stepped up to provide counseling support, but I hope those workers are getting the long-term help they need. Anyone who experienced something that traumatic will likely carry those scars for a lifetime. My heart goes out to the families grieving their lost loved ones, but let’s also keep in mind those who saw the horrors up close. It's a reminder of how gun violence ripples out and impacts so many lives beyond just the immediate victims. I truly hope someone comes forward with information to help solve this case. Stay strong, Detroit.

Hey everyone, I was just thinking about the White Castle shooting back in 2018. It's been five years, and it still hits hard thinking about those young lives that were taken so suddenly. I read that Gadson's autopsy was set for the day after the incident, and I can't imagine how tough that must've been for his family, waiting for answers that can never truly heal such a loss. Does anyone know if the restaurant employees have ever spoken about what happened that night? I remember reading they received counseling, which is so needed after experiencing something like that. It must have been incredibly traumatic. Also, I wonder how this has affected the community around that White Castle location over the years. We talk a lot about the immediate aftermath, but what about the long-term impact on everyone involved? Keeping DeShawn, Trevaughn, Rashawn, and their families in my thoughts.

Has anyone else been troubled by the lack of surveillance footage released to the public in the White Castle shooting? It seems like with all the technology available today, there should have been something captured that could help identify the suspects. I understand that the police might be keeping details under wraps to protect the integrity of their investigation, but it’s been quite a while, and from what I've seen, there hasn't been much progress. I can't imagine the pain DeShawn Gadson's family and the families of the other victims are going through, knowing that the people responsible are still out there. It makes you wonder if there's something more we could be doing to support the investigation, whether it’s raising awareness or encouraging anyone with even the smallest piece of information to come forward. Does anyone with more experience in these types of cases have insight into why surveillance footage might not have been more prominently used in the investigation? My thoughts are with everyone affected by this tragic event.
