Did anyone else notice the role that Austin Richardson played in this case? It's so frustrating to see how plea deals often work in these situations. I understand they're sometimes necessary, but it's tough knowing that he was directly involved in Christopher Dickerson's murder and yet received a reduced sentence for testifying against Trevino. I think of Christopher's family, especially his mom, and how they must feel about this. It must be incredibly challenging to watch one of your son’s murderers get a lesser sentence because of a plea deal. It's a constant reminder of how the justice system can be a double-edged sword. Has anyone heard more about how Richardson’s testimony impacted the trial?
