I can't get Brandi and DeAnte's story out of my mind. I was reading about their case again today and thought about how Brandi used to mentor young people and loved dancing. It's just so awful that such a vibrant, passionate young woman had her life cut short. I can't imagine what her father must be going through—losing a daughter with so much potential and a bright future ahead. And DeAnte... leaving behind four kids. His mother must be devastated too. Knowing he was the kind of person who helped others, it makes you wonder if maybe that's why they were targeted. It’s frustrating to hear that there haven’t been any arrests after all this time. I really hope someone who knows something will find the courage to come forward and give these families the justice and answers they desperately need. It’s a heavy burden when those we care about are taken from us in such a tragic way. Let’s all keep sharing Brandi and DeAnte's story and encourage anyone with information to reach out to the authorities or Crime Stoppers.
