Does anyone have more information about the memorial service held for Roosevelt on Mabel Street? I heard from a friend living in Kalamazoo that the community came together to honor him in a really beautiful way, despite the shocking nature of his death. It's important for us to remember Roosevelt not just as a victim of a senseless act, but as a valued member of his community who was deeply loved. It must have been so incredibly hard for his family and friends to find a way to cope with the loss. I think it's crucial to also focus on healing and supporting those who are left behind in the aftermath of such tragedies. If anyone could share any details about how the community is rallying together or if there's a fund set up to support his family, it would be helpful for all of us who want to provide some form of assistance.
