It's baffling how Pearl's car, a pretty old model and distinct in color and make, didn’t turn up anywhere. Green 1993 Ford Crown Victorias aren't exactly a common sight these days or back then, yet it’s like it just vanished off the face of the earth along with her.
And the location - Evangeline Road - isn’t far from the river. It's hard not to wonder if that's where her car might be, even after all these years of searching. But if it had gone into the river, surely some trace would have surfaced by now, right? I keep circling back to the possibility of an abduction or foul play. Someone could've easily targeted her once she was alone in that somewhat secluded area.
My heart goes out to her family, who must still feel the sting of unanswered questions every day. It's so crucial to keep Pearl's story out there, in the hopes of someone remembering something, however small. Even the tiniest detail could break this case wide open.
I've been digging into the details of Pearl Scarkino's case, and something that's been gnawing at me is the condition of her car. As far as I can tell, they never found her green Ford Crown Victoria. It makes me wonder, if she did drive into the river, wouldn't there have been some trace of the vehicle or tire marks at the scene? Or if foul play was involved, couldn't someone have stashed it somewhere? It seems odd that there's no record of investigators finding any car parts or disturbed areas near the riverbanks. Not sure if this angle has been explored enough or if it's another dead end, but it feels like there should be some clue surrounding the car's disappearance. Anyone have more insights on this?
