I've been thinking a lot about Anthony and Devon lately, especially after learning more about who they were to their friends and family. It really strikes me how Anthony, as a Vietnam veteran, must have seen and been through so much in his life, only to have it end in such a sudden and senseless way. From what I’ve read, he was someone who cared deeply for those around him and had a real commitment to his community. I'm curious about how their community is holding up since this tragedy. It seems like the vigil was a strong show of support, but I wonder if there have been any ongoing efforts to help the family or make the neighborhood safer. It’s hard to fathom how something so violent unfolds over what started as a disagreement. It’s a sobering reminder of how fragile life can be and how important it is for us to support each other in both good times and bad. My heartfelt condolences go out to their family and friends as they navigate this unimaginable loss.
