It's been a few years since Kimberly Green and Dorian Patterson lost their lives, and my heart goes out to their families as they continue to search for justice. I was reading about the candlelight vigil the family held for Kimberly, and I could feel the love and pain they must be enduring. It's moments like these that remind us how important community support can be during such trying times.

The suspect, Kenyel William Brown, seems to have a long list of charges against him. It’s unsettling how people with violent histories manage to walk free and then go on to cause more harm. I really hope the reward offered by the U.S. Marshals Service encourages someone to come forward with information. It just feels like such a long time to not have any closure or justice for Kimberly and Dorian.
