I can't stop thinking about the impact Byron's murder has had on the local music scene. DJ Slick B was more than just a talented artist; he brought people together through his love for music. It's devastating to see someone who was such a positive force in the community taken away so senselessly. It’s chilling to think that the suspects are still out there. I keep wondering what kind of world we live in where this kind of violence is becoming so normal. The release of the video footage was a step forward, but it seems like the momentum has stalled. If you're from the Detroit area and know anything, please speak up. Even the smallest details could provide a lead for the authorities. Keeping Byron’s family and friends in my thoughts during this incredibly difficult time. Let’s hope justice is served soon, not just for Byron but to restore some sense of safety for everyone in the community.

Has anyone else noticed how unsettling it is that there's video footage showing the suspects yet no arrests have been made in Byron Gilbert's case? It's like these guys just vanished into thin air after committing such a terrible act. His family and friends must be going through so much pain knowing the people responsible are still out there. It’s also concerning for the local community fearing for their own safety. I really hope the DPD can get the breakthrough they need soon. It just seems like this has been dragging on without any justice for Byron. Does anyone know if there have been new leads or increased community involvement since the last update? Keeping Byrons’s loved ones in my thoughts.

Has anyone else seen the surveillance footage the police released? It's chilling to watch. I can't help but think about what was going through Byron's mind during those final moments. DJ Slick B was such a pivotal figure in Detroit's music scene, and his loss is tremendous for so many. I never had the opportunity to meet him personally, but attended a few events where he performed, and his energy was incredible. It makes me wonder if maybe some tension or disagreement could have led to this? Or was it random? The randomness is what scares me the most—how violence can touch anyone at any time without any rhyme or reason. If you know anything or think you recognized those individuals in the video or that SUV, please speak up. We owe it to Byron and his family to find justice and bring some peace to his loved ones. This circle of violence needs to break, and every tip can be a step closer to doing that.
