I was reading about Isaan Meeks' case, and something that really stuck with me was his reputation as a peacemaker within his family. It's so incredibly tragic that someone who dedicated himself to keeping peace in his own home ended up losing his life to such senseless violence. The fact that he was just 20 and already had such a responsibility on his shoulders, especially with a new baby girl, breaks my heart.
