I was reading through the details of John Slowick Jr.'s case, and I just can't stop thinking about the impact this has had on his family, especially his daughter. I can't imagine how difficult it must be for an 8-year-old to process an event like this. Losing a parent so suddenly and in such a violent manner must have turned her world upside down. It’s touching to see how the community continues to rally around the family, but it breaks my heart to know that justice still hasn't been served. Those distinct details about the Impala—especially the headlight—seem like such a crucial clue. I hope someone out there remembers seeing it. Keeping John’s family in my thoughts and hoping for some breakthroughs soon. If you have any insights, please don’t hesitate to reach out to the Redford Police Department.
