Hey everyone,
I've been following Curtis Ray Fields Jr.'s story and one aspect that has really stuck with me is how the community in Flint came together for him and his family during that incredibly difficult time. From what I’ve read, Curtis seemed to have such a positive impact on everyone around him, especially through his love for his daughter Taytumn. It’s clear that he was someone who brought joy and laughter to those who knew him.
The turnout at his funeral must have been a testament to the kind of person he was. It makes me wonder about how local communities rally in tragedy and the support systems they create. It seems like those who knew him are not letting his memory fade away and are keeping his daughter in their thoughts and prayers.
If anyone has more insight into the community's response or stories about Curtis that they’d like to share, it could provide some comfort to those who are still feeling the loss. It’s moments like these where coming together really showcases the strength of community bonds.
Sending out my thoughts to all of Curtis's friends and family. ?

I was reading about Curtis Ray Fields Jr., and something struck me. It’s comforting, yet so sad, to see the love Curtis had for his daughter, Taytumn. Being a devoted parent is such a profound legacy to leave behind. I can't help but think about how this little girl will grow up without her father, though she’ll always have stories of his determination and humor to hold on to. The way his friends and family talk about him really shows the kind of person he was. I hope there are efforts to create some lasting memories for her, maybe through videos or messages Curtis might have left behind. If anyone out there knew Curtis personally, I’d love to hear more about the memories he left with Taytumn and how she’s being supported through all this. Sending strength to the Fields family.
I recently came across Curtis Ray Fields Jr.'s story, and I'm really struck by the memories shared in his obituary. It's clear he brought a lot of joy to those who knew him, especially with how he made everyone laugh. I’m curious if anyone else has more insights into his life, maybe stories or fond memories that capture his spirit and could shed light on who he was beyond the tragic circumstances of his death. His dedication to his daughter, Taytumn, is especially touching—it's evident he cared deeply for her. For anyone who attended Flint Northern or was in the Job Corps with him, what was Curtis like back then? Keeping his memory alive through stories feels important, both for his family and for those of us looking for a fuller picture of who he was.
