Hey everyone, just jumping into this discussion because something about the Arctic Rose case has been on my mind. I read that before the ship went missing, there was a sudden drop in communication. Does anyone know if that’s common during rough weather or if it could have been a sign of technical failure? Plus, I'm curious about something else. Were there any other vessels nearby that reported unusual weather conditions or anything else odd around that time? It makes me wonder about how isolated the ship could have been in such vast waters. It's such a puzzling case with so many layers. Anyone got insights or similar case experiences they can share?

Was just reading about the Arctic Rose tragedy, and my heart goes out to the families involved. With Kenneth being one of the crew members, I can't help but wonder about the conditions on board that night. Does anyone here have insider knowledge on the type of equipment these vessels use to track weather changes? I know the Bering Sea can be brutal, but I'm curious whether something could have been done differently. It must be incredibly difficult not knowing exactly what happened out there. Thoughts?
