Has anyone else been following the courtroom updates in the Michelle O’Neal case? I can’t imagine what her family must be going through, having to relive such a painful experience during the hearings. I read that the probable cause conference is set for August 20, 2021. It's reassuring to see the legal system working to get justice for Michelle, but I hope it’s not too overwhelming for her loved ones. The weight of losing someone in such a shocking way is unimaginable, and the process must be incredibly tough. Sending thoughts and strength to everyone who knew her during this difficult time. Does anyone have any more details on how the prosecution is building their case against Smith and Burgess? Curious to see how this unfolds, but also wishing there was something more we could all do for Michelle’s family.
Hi everyone,
I've been following the tragic case of Michelle O'Neal and something that's been sticking with me is the role community support can play in these devastating times. From what I've gathered, Michelle was known in her neighborhood and it's heartening to see how locals have rallied together after her passing.
It's just a reminder of how important it is for us as a community to support one another, especially the family and friends of victims who are facing such overwhelming grief. I've read about several community-led vigils and fundraisers that have been organized, which really showcase the strength and compassion within Detroit.
It makes me think about how each of us might be able to contribute. Whether it's participating in events, sharing information that could assist the investigation, or just being there for those affected, every little bit helps. Sending all my thoughts to those who knew and loved Michelle. Let's keep her memory alive by staying involved and supporting each other. ?
Would love to hear thoughts on how we can continue to support the O'Neal family and the wider community.
Stay safe, everyone.
