Hey everyone, Does anyone else find it odd that there weren't any distress calls from the Arctic Rose before it sank? I mean, with today's technology and all the safety protocols that are supposed to be in place for commercial fishing vessels, you'd think there would have been some kind of alert. Granted, I know the Bering Sea is notorious for its treacherous conditions, but it still feels strange to me. Did anyone else come across any info on why they couldn't send out a mayday or any kind of warning? Just trying to piece together what happened out there. Stay safe, everyone.
