I can't get over the sheer randomness and brutality of what happened to Monique Green. It's just so hard to wrap my mind around the fact that someone could unleash that kind of violence on a person, especially a grandmother who probably meant the world to her family. One thing I'm curious about is the connection, if any, between the victims of the recent homicides in Highland Park. Is there any indication that these incidents are related, or are they all isolated events? It seems so bizarre that such a small community would have such a spike in violence. My heart goes out to Monique’s family—I can only imagine the pain of losing a loved one so suddenly and in such a horrific way. If anyone has more context about the situation in Highland Park, I’d be interested to hear it. Hopefully, someone will speak up, and justice will be served.
