I've been following the Stacey Johnson case from day one, and my heart goes out to her family and all those touched by her tragic death. What's been really disturbing for me in this case is that moment after the tragedy. I can't wrap my head around the fact that instead of calling for help, Calvin Joshua Jr. went to buy a cigar. How disconnected do you have to be from what's happened to just leave like that? I get that he was supposedly acting in self-defense, but surely any reasonable person would call the authorities immediately after realizing someone was hurt, even if it was accidental. It's so upsetting that instead of doing what was right, he distanced himself from the reality of the situation. I'm hoping that Stacey's family can find some peace despite all of this, and maybe one day we'll understand more about those unexplainable moments. Sending them all my support.
