Has anyone else been following the case of Deborah and John VanHavel? It's so difficult to comprehend that a couple like them, deeply rooted in their community and surrounded by family, could meet such a tragic end. I read that Deborah was actively involved with the American Legion Auxiliary and it got me thinking about the kind of support network she had. It must be incredibly tough for her friends and fellow members to be grappling with such a loss. The history of domestic violence in their home adds a complicated layer to everything. It makes me wonder if this has impacted how her community is dealing with their grief or if it’s brought them closer together as they seek justice. My heart goes out to everyone involved, especially her family during what should have been a time of togetherness. Does anyone know if the community has organized any memorials or gatherings in her memory? It might be a way for them to start healing.
