I've been following the details of the Yvonne Rettig case, and it's just so hard to wrap my head around what her parents and son must be going through. The notion of Charles Rettig watching TV, utterly unaware that his daughter was being harmed just a few feet away, is haunting. I can't imagine the weight of that realization. And little Devon... his words about wanting to join his mom in heaven are gut-wrenching.
Yvonne seemed like such a bright and lively person. It's baffling that her life ended this way. If anyone suspects anything or has seen something, please reach out to the authorities. Every small piece of information can make a huge difference. The family deserves answers, and Yvonne deserves justice. Keeping them in my thoughts.
