Has anyone looked into the social circles Juan Mendez might have been part of in the weeks leading to his disappearance? I'm wondering if there were any changes in his behavior or if he mentioned anything unusual to friends or family. Sometimes, people start acting differently or pulling away from their usual activities when something is off. It might be worth revisiting those who knew him personally to see if there's any detail that wasn't considered crucial back then but might offer some clues now. What do you all think?
I've been going down the rabbit hole on Juan Mendez's case lately, and something just doesn’t add up to me about that last sighting on October 11, 2001. It's strange that in a place like San Joaquin County, there weren't any solid leads or witnesses that came forward. Even a small town usually buzzes with information, yet nobody seems to know anything. Does anyone think there's a possibility that the sighting might have been mistaken, or maybe someone saw him after that date but never realized it was relevant? I really hope more people start talking now with the renewed interest in his case. This family deserves answers after all these years. Thoughts?
Hey everyone,
I recently stumbled across Juan Mendez's case again and something has been on my mind. I can't help but wonder about the role that his social circles might have played at the time. At 25, it's common to have a wide range of acquaintances, especially if you're into any community activities. Does anyone know if Juan was involved in anything like that, or perhaps had friends from college or work that were questioned? Sometimes I think we forget that people around the missing can have crucial insights. If anyone local remembers anything about where Juan liked to hang out or who he often spent time with, it might be worth looking into. It's been over two decades, but it's surprising how things can jog people's memories even after all these years.
Thanks for any insights you might have!
