I’ve been thinking a lot about Anthony’s case and how it’s truly shaken the Grand Rapids community. I can't imagine what his family, especially his young son, must be going through. I’ve seen the outpouring of support for them, and it just shows how much Anthony meant to everyone around him.
I wanted to talk about Anthony's incredible way of connecting with people through humor. Was anyone else surprised to learn about Devon James Cole's background? I did some digging through old court records and found that he had a few run-ins with the law before this tragic event, including prior charges related to firearm possession. Knowing about his past, it's so troubling that this ended so horribly for Anthony.
