I was reading about the case of Su-Chi Lam and noticed something that's been bugging me. It’s mentioned that she suffered from mental illness and left her home without notifying her daughter. I wonder if her mental state at the time could have caused her to seek out a place she'd find comforting or familiar from the past. Honolulu is full of spots where someone might feel at peace or safe.
Is there any information on places she liked to visit or where she might have connections? Maybe she went to a location reminiscent of a better time in her life. I hope the investigators have considered this angle and checked out areas significant to her, if any. Sometimes, revisiting familiar places can provide a sense of comfort, especially for someone dealing with mental health challenges. It feels like it might be a lead worth looking into even after all these years.
I was recently reading about the case of Su-Chi Lam and something that stood out to me was the lack of media coverage over the years – it almost feels like her story just faded away. Given that she had a mental illness, it’s worrying how vulnerable she could have been out there on her own. It's really concerning that no substantial leads have surfaced in all this time. Has anyone else noticed how cases involving older individuals or those dealing with mental health issues don't seem to get as much attention? I feel there could be a lot we’re missing, maybe even eyewitnesses who had interactions with her back then but didn’t realize she was a missing person. Hoping for something to break soon, as it’s hard to believe she just vanished without a trace. Any thoughts on what more can be done to bring attention back to her case?
