Hey everyone, I've been following the tragic case of Burnis King and wanted to discuss something that has been on my mind. It's incredibly devastating to think about how the situation unfolded just hours after the non-fatal shooting. I can't help but wonder about the timeline and how quickly everything escalated.
It's truly concerning that the attackers seemed to know precisely when to come back after the police had already been there. Did they have some sort of lookout, or was it just a terrible coincidence? It's scary to think there might have been someone keeping tabs on the situation from the shadows.
Moreover, I feel a deep sense of sorrow for his family, especially his mom, Kathy Ballard. She's lost four children, which is unimaginable. Given her comments about the police taking Burnis's registered gun, it makes me reflect on the balance between police protocol and individual protection. I can't even begin to imagine the frustration and helplessness she must feel.
