I’ve been thinking a lot about the area where Marc fell on Devils Thumb. From what I’ve gathered, its terrain is incredibly harsh and unpredictable. I'm curious about the safety procedures and equipment for mountain climbers tackling peaks like these. Are there specific protocols they follow in the event of an accident? It seems like such a remote location might pose added challenges for rescue teams. If anyone has experience climbing in similar circumstances, I'd love to hear how you prepare for the unexpected, especially in such rugged environments. Keeping Marc and his family in my thoughts as they continue their search.
