Reading about the tragedy in Clare County and how Judy Boyer took the lives of her own family members and two handymen has been so difficult. I can’t imagine the pain that Zachary Salminen's loved ones are experiencing right now. From what I've gathered, Zach was the kind of person you would want to know—dedicated to his work as a carpenter and always one to lend a helping hand. It’s so unfair to think that his love for the outdoors and life in general was cut short in such a senseless manner.
Has anyone come across more about Boyer’s motive? The details are so sparse on why she had a list or why she went on this tragic spree. It's terrifying to think that this could happen in what seemed to be a peaceful home environment. If you have any insight or more information, please share. My heart goes out to Zach's family and friends during this incredibly dark time.
I've been thinking a lot about the tragic events involving Zachary Salminen and how deeply his loss must be felt by all who knew him. It's truly devastating to lose someone so unexpectedly and under such shocking circumstances. I didn't know Zachary personally, but from what I've read, he seemed like a genuinely good person who was always willing to lend a hand. Being a carpenter isn't just a job; it's about building things that last, and I like to think that applies to the relationships Zachary had with those around him too.
It's hard to wrap my head around why anyone, like Judy Boyer, would go to such lengths to harm others. I keep wondering if there were signs that something was amiss or if it was just one of those things that no one could have seen coming. My heart goes out to Zachary's family and everyone who loved him. Please know that there's a community out here thinking of you, sharing your grief, and hoping for some kind of peace for all involved.
I can't stop thinking about the impact this must have on Zachary's family, especially his kids. Losing a parent is unimaginable, and to such violence—it’s beyond words. I grew up in a small community myself, and I know how close-knit places like Clare County can be. People look out for one another; it’s like a big extended family.
The fact that Zachary was just there to help out as a handyman makes it even sadder. He was doing what he loved and was known for—being of service to others. It strikes me how someone’s kindness and willingness to lend a hand led him to be at the wrong place at the wrong time.
I hope his family can find some peace and healing through the support and love from the community. If there are any local initiatives or fundraisers for the families of the victims, I'd be eager to know more about how to contribute. No one should feel alone in dealing with such heavy losses.
