Hi everyone,
I've been following the case of Mark and Patrick closely, and something about the 'Shenandoah' and 'Mary J' situation has really piqued my interest. Does anyone have any insight into the usual protocols for towing a vessel like 'Mary J'? It seems odd that it ended up aground at Windy Bay—could there have been some mechanical issue or weather condition that might have caused the tow to go off course? Also, I’d be curious to know if there are any reports of similar incidents in the region. The fact that both the EPIRB was activated and the life raft was found complicates the situation even more. Really hoping for more updates or thoughts from anyone who's familiar with maritime procedures or the local area.
Stay safe out there.
I've been following the case of Mark and Patrick's disappearance from the Shenandoah with fascination and concern. One thing that keeps nagging at me is the mystery surrounding the EPRIB signal they received near Rocky Bay. It seems like such a critical clue, yet the search in that area hasn't turned up anything definitive.
Could it be possible that the signal malfunctioned, or maybe they were closer to shore than the data suggests? The presence of the life raft indicates some kind of emergency action, but it's unsettling that nothing else was found.
I wonder if this area is known for treacherous sea conditions or unexpected currents that could have led to such a swift disappearance. If anyone is familiar with the coastal waters around Rocky Bay, your insights would be invaluable. Please keep the families in your thoughts as this search continues.
