Has anyone else been following the community's response to the tragic deaths of Khalileo Anderson and De’Angelique Thomas? It's just so awful to think about what their families are going through right now. From what I've read, it seems like this case has stirred a lot of feelings in Hamtramck about safety and crime. The fact that the apartment building had a history of trouble just adds another layer to this tragedy. It breaks my heart knowing how Khalileo's family described him as having this huge heart, and it's unnerving that someone could do something so horrific to people they supposedly knew. I hope that as the legal proceedings continue against Rayquan Ralph Young, not only will there be justice for the victims and their families, but also maybe some healing for the community. What do you all think this might mean for Hamtramck moving forward? Are there any positive changes we should be pushing for to prevent something like this from happening again?
